The Home is here for every lost and abandoned animal who comes through our doors. But what happens if the care an animal needs is beyond what our shelters can provide alone?
Five-month-old Cavoodle puppy Robbie was trapped in a warehouse without food for over a week. When he arrived in our care, he was so weak from hunger that he could barely stand.
Robbie needed round-the-clock care that only a home can provide.
That’s why Dina and Ray are his heroes. They became his foster carers to give him a peaceful home away from the Home to continue his special loving care every day and night.
Right now, not only are our shelters under enormous pressure as we near capacity—our network of foster carers is also bursting at the seams.
We need help covering the daily costs of animals in foster care, so our foster carers can focus on providing their love and one-on-one attention to the animals who need it the most.
The Home receives NO ongoing government funding. We absolutely depend on donations to help pay for vital costs, like our bespoke Foster Care Packs, which contain food, toys, medicine and more.
That’s on top of the ongoing medical attention and expert behaviour advice that foster carers can access to nurture vulnerable animals.
The Home has hundreds of sick, hungry and frightened animals depending on foster care as their home away from the Home.
And around 41 more lost and abandoned animals are arriving on our shelter doorstep every day.
Please donate towards essential supplies, like our Foster Care Packs, to help hungry and neglected animals have special round-the-clock care and loving forever homes.
